Hi
WTO Trade Agreements do not routinely include services.
What part of this do you not understand.
Foreign Banks trading here from outside the EU have to set up a branch here, register here, comply with our rules
and pay tax here.
The net profits are sent back to international headquarters.
Even JRM has moved part of his business to the EU in order to continue to have access.
The big American and Japanese Banks are sited here so that they can trade throughout the EU from a base here.
They are moving the EU part of their business to the EU.
That is how the system works.
Trade in manufactured goods and products is hugely important to us, it employs people and earns foreign exchange.
The rest of the world operates on this and agree mutual recognition systems.
They survive, make money and do well.
Why are we so special?
