Brexit binary choice - no brainer
Did anyone read Martin Howe QC's legal verdict of the PM's Withdrawal Agreement? 24 November 2018
9:00 AM in the Spectator-
He's a leading Barrister in EU law and his review of the agreement is scathing:
The Brexit choice is simple, do we want to be permanently tied in to the EU / ECJ, losing our sovereignty (Lisbon 2020), financial services (moving to Stuttgart), our ability to do trade deals, our fisheries and agriculture, Gibraltar (Spain's increasing demands), Northern Ireland (annexation of Northern Ireland into the EU for laws relating to goods, customs procedures and taxes) Cyprus (ditto)....the list goes on an on.......all of these aspects are arbitrated by an unelected group who merely act as a postbox to the ECJ which has final authority over it all - they only need to do nothing (and we can't stop them doing that !) and we are held in limbo on everything with new laws being passed down affecting us that we have had no say in
The choice really is binary - do we realy want that or do we kick it out entirely and leave on 29th March with a hard Brexit?...EVERY OTHER PROPOSAL IS A SMOKESCREEN put about by the fear campaigners and their pet MPs / Cabinet members - the the PM can't see that no-one wants her atrocious Withdrawal Agreement then she needs to go a.s.a.p.
The MPs/Ministers still suggesting alternatives should all be place on the deselection list with all speed. Let's start putting the list together and getting activists into every local party organisation to have fresh candidates stand against these traitors to democracy - start with the remainers in the cabinet (who have been highly vocal recently) and work outwards. They must never work in politics again, we cannot trust them - we only need 50 votes in each of the local Conservative party groups to oust the candidate -it's even easier with Labour's setup.
