WTO agreement means £1.3 trillion market for UK

More great news for BrExit

WTO agreement means £1.3 trillion market for UK businesses

https://www.westmonster.com/wto-agre...uk-businesses/

"British businesses will be able to continue to bid for public sector contracts around the world worth more than £1.3 trillion per year after the UK leaves the European Union.

In great news (that will probably be totally ignored by the Remainstream media), the World Trade Organisation (WTO) have today confirmed that the UK will join the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA) as an independent member if the UK leaves the EU with No Deal.

It is another step towards an independent trade policy, with Trade Secretary Liam Fox saying: “I’m delighted to have confirmation from the GPA Committee today that the UK will be an independent member of the agreement as we leave the EU.

“This is a hugely successful global agreement which will give British businesses certainty that they can continue bidding for £1.3 trillion worth of government procurement contracts overseas."

“This is an important win for British diplomacy as we take our place on the world stage, and we are looking forward to continuing to play a committed and active role in the GPA Committee and the WTO as a whole. I’d like to thank our colleagues in the GPA for working with us to achieve this excellent result.”

And from The Express:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/polit...s-relationship

"Britain is a member of the GPA, whose members open up their combined $1.7tn (£1.28tn) government procurement markets to each other's firms, by virtue of its EU membership. Diplomats agreed Britain's continuing membership post-Brexit in principle in November, saying few changes would be needed and GPA members had an interest in keeping Britain within the club. British Ambassador Julian Braithwaite said: “Today's decision underlines our determination to minimise any disruption, however we leave the European Union.”"

"The British Mission’s statement said membership would ensure “British taxpayers and public sector organisations, including government departments, continue to benefit from increased choice and value for money on contracts which are open to international competition”."

Seems lots of good news now emerging. Almost as if the previously quite silent majority are now erupting with real news which flattens the Remainer BS that has been spouted for so long.

The public has been mislead, lied to, duped over and over by Remainer BS and media propaganda. Now the truth is going to come out and once it does we should remember who the feckless EU lickspittles were and oust them from government.

A lot of the media are worried about losing their EU broadcasting rights when we leave and the sugar money they get from Brussels. Either way, nobody will fall for their fear mongering stories again - the MSM needs to move aside and let the platforms take centre stage.

I already get The Guardian asking me for donations on my facebook wall - nobody reads that junk anymore, its all available on-line, for free without needing to go out the house.

Again, it's telling how bias the BBC and other media channels are when significant news like this doesn't get plastered all over the news.
