Thanks to the UK for resisting the pressure from the usa on agricultural products. The first signals that they are upping their production processes are noticable (just google it). Apperently they understand that to trade with the UK their quality control has to rise.
For instance, not rudely cutting the intestines out of chickens and spilling the contents on the meat, requiring washing it with chlorine in the hope to kill of the majority of pathogenic bacteria. Based on EU rules the UK neatly removes the intestines intact and disposes of them. And they want the usa to do the same.

EU negotiates on behalf of 28 members. That includes the UK, and Irelland. Unless the UK leaves withoutba deal, any deal closed before the end of the transition period, is applicable on the UK. So what is your point?

Nope, the EU is banning usa chickens for years now. After brexit the UK is smart enough to continue doing the same.
