Re: Scotlands Sabateurs Fail Miserably ..

Let's face it. Boris has had to prorogue Parliament solely because of the actions of the Remain clowns in Parliament. And don't be fooled. This fight to the end line to get Brexit done is simply that. A final battle.

The clowns on the opposition benches don't fool the people for a moment. This is the end game between getting Brexit or Remaining in the EU. It is nothing to do with the fake outrage over Boris's action. It is a fight between the elite of society and the middle-class and working-class people. it is a battle between a Remain majority in the House of Commons determined to stop Brexit by fair means or foul, with the Brexit backing MP's striving to act on the will of the people.

It is easy to fool people into believing that the great majority of the public are aghast at Boris's action in proroguing Parliament, because they are the only ones seen on our elite media televisions, radio and newspapers taking part in protests. The Celebrity Luvvies also ensure they get their few minutes publicity too.

But fear not, whatever transpires in this battle, when the General Election comes along, (and it won't be too long now) the voices of the people who have been treated as lightweights because we have kept a respectable silence (except on forums) will relish having our say in our millions on each and every MP that has had the temerity to go against their constituent's instruction to do that for which they were elected for.
It won't matter what the result of Brexit will be. Those MP's will witness first-hand, the wrath of their constituents who have had to stand by watch as their own MP spent the last 3 years, totally betraying them.

I cannot wait.

Re: Scotlands Sabateurs Fail Miserably ..

On the flip side of this, if the saboteurs succeed on Tuesday to prevent the proroguing of parliament and the queens speech this would mean a no deal is more likely because the withdrawal bill would not be allowed to voted on in the new parliamentary session.

Go remainers!

It has almost become people versus MPs it's a shame they don't know who pays their wages because my guess is some of them will lose their jobs come next elections.

I just sent a scathing email again to James Cartledge who is my MP.

He's useless.

Wasn't it labour and the libdem's who were against ratification of the maastricht treaty, and the conservatives pushing it through?
Both sides have changed coates it seems.

If anything, I am convinced boris loves his country.

In his time as foreign secretary, and now as pm, he has access to the best available knowledge on the effects of brexit, and no deal. Boris will never do that to his country.

There is legal consensus that a GE and subsequent roads of legislation are unpredictable in outcome. Might even bring corbyn in number 10.

So boris is steering for an adapted withdrawal deal, while he knows scapping the backstop is impossible, both politically and technically.
His opponents see this impossibility, but at the same time see boris heading to a no deal.

Boris is hoping to convince a majority in HoC that he will exit without a deal, and from that conviction panic and force him to go to the EU and revoke A50.
Britain's future is safe, and so is boris' position as pm. After all he tried to keep his promise but sovereign parliament commanded him to go to brussels.

As always, an excellent explanation of the situation.

However, there are two problems.

Firstly, in the next GE the Leaver majority will certainly not vote for the traitors who are doing all they can to override the wishes of the majority, but who will they vote for?
If both Boris and Nigel stand in every constituency, people like me who have vowed to vote for Boris only if he has achieved a true Brexit, will likely vote for Nigel. Our Leaver votes will be split.
If a GE election is called before Brexit, it is essential that Boris and Nigel come to some agreement beforehand.

The second problem is that there are many voters who are just fed up with what has happened over the past three years and are coming to realise that democracy is dead in this country. Many of them will think that it is not worth voting when their decisions in the Referendum are being ignored and have simply given up.
