Fait accompli, it seems.
Before they knocked on his door they must have checked his other tweets and checked his name in ECRIS. These made them go visit him.

Seven answers to the question, 3 yes, 4 no, by brexiter logic a majority for no, the EU will not become a single federal state.

Re: Boris climbs down.

As we have been saturated with Remainers on our television screens and other media over the last 3 years, please take the time to read this article on Castleford, a mining town in the North, where they have been lifelong Labour supporters. The mere mention of Margaret Thatcher's name would have anyone living there blow a gasket. Their hatred for the Tories is renowned after the Miners Strike.
Even owning a blue car was betrayal! This town voted by 70% to leave.

If this is a typical reaction to the betrayal of the people. Its no wonder Jeremy Corbyn is being labelled a chlorinated chicken.

As Jacob Rees-Mogg said today, the conservatives have met labours terms for a general election.

.... Now let's see if the party of principle will keep their word.

That's an important development. Former labour voters turned conservative. They can replace the tory mps in the house that were removed by boris. But will the turncoats still be conservative mps after brexit, or will their labour identity take back over? Would bring a swing to the left in the conservative party. Or is the daily express just making things up?

Just been reading that Whitehall sources confirm its possible Bercow could rule out a second election vote under the Fixed Term Parliament Act if the Govt fails to win tonight, limiting future options. One insider says it would be 'truly, truly extraordinary' for Bercow to block an election, but still....

strange that the Speaker finds out he might face an electoral challenge in his constituency and all of a sudden he might try to rule out a second vote on an election if the Government loses it's motion tonight.

Are they trying to incite civil war????

Re: Boris climbs down.

Perhaps if Boris Johnson did not lie so much and allow a far right loony to lead him by the nose, this week would not have been the disaster for democracy it has been. The world must think we have all lost our marbles.

Certainly agree with your last sentence. What the world must think of our Parliamentarians doesn't bear thinking about.
They are cocooned inside that London bubble and seemingly have all taken leave of their senses.

One thing is for certain, remain is hated by a massive majority in this country now and that is why Corbyn and co are cowering away from judgement day by general election.

Remain need to cling on in Parliament for all its worth. They know that this delay bill (the treason bill) is their last chance to scupper the democratic will of the people, and probably believe, once we are back in the EU fold, they will be protected ... heralded by their unelected masters as martyrs, the ultimate virtue that can be bestowed on a traitor, before reality kicks in and they blame everyone else for their actions with their sorry excuses.

Whatever the outcome of Brexit, these bastards in the HoC know that they are only protected until a general election happens and when it does, every person in this country will vote against every one of them with big black crosses marking their anger and disgust.

Come the election, democracy will belong to the people again and the people will not let them get away with what they have done and I can guarantee they will never get a second chance.
