Don't press 1 or you will be put through to a ''technician'' who will attempt to get into your computer. At the very least, you could be charged a lot of money for the call.

Needless to say, the first time I knew it was definitely a scam, as we're not with BT. You'd think they would get their facts right before doing it, wouldn't you?
Now, whenever the same call comes through, I just put the phone down.
Needless to say, being on the TPS register is absolutely pointless!
