Dishwasher Caution

Heard of a horrible freak accident, wont go into details ....
I know nothing of dishwashers, in this case the knives were positioned in the tray blades pointing upwards - please don't do this, may have been a freak accident, but it 'can' happen again .......

That's something I am always ranting at people at work about they have no consideration for the person who has to empty the thing and times I have nearly cut my wrist just drives me mad ! Won't have one at home I don't think they clean as well as I do
