I don't think they use as much as they used to and if you rinse dishes after washing them by hand you can get through a lot of water too. I just don't think they do as a good a job as me at washing up.

I think all white goods are being made greener than a few years ago, less water leccy etc. In the case of washing machines I think that is a mistake so we look for old fashioned ungreen one when we buy one.

My dishwasher was playing up last week things were dirty , and left wet , i couldn't understand why...it had plenty of water , detergent ect ....i soon found out why and fixed it ...she was trying to wash up and talk on the phone at the same time...
