When do shops put up their Christmas decorations?

Is it right after their Halloween displays or earlier? I seem to remember being in John Lewis once at the end of October and they had all their Christmas stuff up.

Christmas decs going up right now as we speak in my local garden centre although to be fair, they are for sale.

Yes, it seems like the lead up to Christmas is endless and unrelenting.

I read somewhere recently...that people who put up their Christmas decorations early are much happier people...

We shall see...as I intend to start decorating in mid November this year.

As for the stores here in Ontario...the Christmas decorations usually go up, before the Hallowe'en ones come down...

Its all a blur now, Halloween, Christmas, New year, Valentines day, Easter, seems to be one long chance to separate from our money.

I have no wish to think about Christmas before December 1st, and dispose of it for another year on December 27th.

The Garden Centre I went to this morning had all their Christmas decorations and many of those they also sell.

I agree it is far too early but have to admit it looked lovely and made me smile

I'm pleased that they drew the line at playing Christmas music though

Worst part though is the wretches have mince pies, how am i going to last till Christmas.
