Re: The stranger in my mother's bed.

I know how you feel Fruity, I went through all that with my dear Mother 10 years ago, believe me, sooner is better that watching them lost and not knowing any of their own family.
May God give you strength to deal with this terrible time.

Re: The stranger in my mother's bed.

So sorry Fruitcake.

Like others have said, my Mum died in 2014 and I shall never forget that, or what led up to it.

We do understand.
Take care.

That's one of the reasons I posted. I know many people here will have been or will be in the same situation, and will understand.

I also had a load of thoughts whizzing round inside my head on the way home, and I just wanted somewhere to put them.

I have been there too Fruitcake, twice over so really can feel for you. My way to help myself was to try and remember all the good times we had and how much my parents had given me to help me in my life, I couldn't change what was happening but sometimes a little positiveness helps, those good memories are I found, very positive and a great help at an awful time.
