Re: Pros and Cons of election result?

The pros are that Corbyn will be gone.
The cons are that there is no effective opposition.

They have been interviewing various labour MPs and they have said that labour voters hated Corbyn. That they voted for Tories because they hated him and his policies so much. It's not that they liked Boris. He was the least-worst option.

I completely agree.
A strong leader would not succumb to blackmail and unwarranted demands.
I'm hoping that Boris turns out to be a strong leader.

When was that.

PROs

This

and the fact that this dimwit will never sully the house again

and the fact that the national disgrace which are the Lib Dems and Jo Swinson are consigned to utter irrelevance in UK politics.

CONs

Nothing remotely coming close to the PROs

in spite of all the negative rhetoric about Boris, p have grown to
actually like the man, l would even buy him a pint if l met him in a
pub! Whereas if l met joyless Jeremy in a pub l would lock him
in the loo!

Re: Pros and Cons of election result?

Why did all the Labour MPs who blame Corbyn for dismal Election results, vote him in as their Leader in the first place?

It was obvious he is a Marxist and does not have leadership qualities.
