eye test today

Had the first part of my eye test at the hospital today. that was for a field test. The other I had to look through a machine at a 5 pointed star . First straight ahead and then left and right for both eyes. think it was some sort of xray check, does anybody know what this is and for, I forgot to ask

I think it is to examine the retina.

Thank you Keezoy

Yes I have glaucoma but it is under control with drops in one eye and had a "stent" behind the other put in.

Thank you very much.

When I went in for the checkup they not only didn't have my notes to hand but I was not even on the ward appointment sheet. but was on the reception signing in machine

then they can't even do part two of the eye test for a couple of days. So i have to go back on Thursday

Talking to the guy they have had a load of problems trying to replace the eye surgeon that operated on me.

At least they can't ban me from driving like before as I have only just passed the DVLA eye test about 8 weeks ago.

I was told to surrender my licence by the eye surgeon before. I waited for 18 months before I decided to try and get my licence back. Talking to this guy the eye surgeon had not informed the DVLA which is damn annoying
