The Happiest Place to Live

Guess where has been voted 'Britain's Happiest Place to Live'?

HEXHAM in Northumberland.
(Always makes me think of our Nom).

Apparently it has a strong sense of community, people feel safe there, and they have the most friendly neighbours.
This put Harrogate at the top of the list.

Second place went to . . . . . Harrogate.

The survey was carried out by Right Move.


Would our Northern members agree with this, or not?

I reckon Batley and Dewsbury will be the bottom of the list. I'm moving to Hexham!

Harrogate's okay if you've got plenty o' brass. It can be a bit snobby and cliquey in parts.

Harrogate is lovely but it's on the top of a hill and it's always so cold....actually it's not the ultra posh place people think it is...it has areas of deprivation just the same as most northern cities.

I'm not sure I've ever been to Hexham....I'll put it on the list
