I had one of these as a kid in the 1970's, worth over £150 now even in used condition. You pulled a cord which separated its body from its head and it said a number of things such as "Hi. I'm Casper the Friendly Ghost!", or "Make me a mug of Yorkshire Tea, Bob!".

I remember a paper triangular thing that l am sure we called a ‘flapper’? They used to make a loud noise when you waved it hard and were usually free in comics.

IIRC, they were so flimsy that they didn't last more than a few minutes .....
