Arise Sir Phillip Hammond, Ken Clarke and Keith Vaisey.

These are the same three who brought shame on this Country by going against it’s own people and siding with a corrupt regime to feather their own nest!. I could think of at leasty 30 ordinary decent people who deserve a knighthood, these elitists are certainly not one of them!

What on earth is Boris thinking of? Is it perhaps a side effect of the Kung Flu?
Do we really want these three self-serving, elitist, establishment turds taking up even more seats in that useless establishment at a cost to the taxpayer of £350 per day, when their treachery cost us billions? We would have left the EU a couple of years ago if not for them, yet here we are with them being rewarded with a lifetime seat on the gravy train. Methinks Boris has quickly lost sight of the mood of the country.

By the way, Where is Nigel’s Knighthood? By doing this Boris has just handed him hundreds of thousands of votes and a huge increase in public support.

Boris, you’re a fool!
Yes, I read about that.
What on earth is Boris playing at?
I've been racking my brain trying to think of some valid reason. To keep them out of practical politics, in the hope that in the House of Lards they have no real power?

I also strongly agree with Nigel being awarded a peerage, but the same applies: he would never be allowed to stand for parliament.

What's more, let's be honest when we believe that the Lards are a complete waste of money. I'm sure that most people, like me, would prefer to have a fully elected upper chamber, and the same goes for the judiciary.
We are supposed to be living in a democracy.

Hope it's not true. They'll be against him all the way if they're elevated to the lords. If anything, the lords needs to be filled, there's far too many of them as it is.

Farage won't get a peerage because Cummings hates him - and Farage hates Cummings.

I see this as a stunt by Boris and co to put the spotlight on the trailers and remind the back benchers they need to tow the line.... or Boris could well change his mind and not give Hammond and co their peerage after all and that would be seriously embarrassing for them and give them a public humiliation like no other.

If Begum gets allowed back she should be made to live next door to Starmer.

Re: Boris To Reward Traitors!

Nigel Farage has proved better than anyone else that lack of electoral triumph does not mean political failure. Public debate is his forte, forcing parties to engage, pressured government into holding a referendum it did not want to achieve a result no one thought possible, and forcing both of Britain’s main parties to reshape their policies on immigration and the EU.

Farage standing down his candidate's is what got Boris his massive majority.

Your absolutely right about his public debates, he is an absolute master.

Is Hammond still an MP?
