For what it's worth, I guess that one has to ask oneself why one has joined a forum and subsequently decided to stay. Am sure we've all joined fora in the past, had a look around, made a few comments, and then decided "nope, not for me".I don't really see the purpose of signing up, making some large sweeping comments which appear to be deliberately designed to offend others or are contentious (and thus worthy of discussion), and then not making any real effort to defend one's position via logical arguments.
If, on the other hand, one is simply unimaginatively ignorant of the likely effects of what one says, then maybe that forum is not really the appropriate place to frequent, since one will become inevitably upset and/or defensive when confronted by those who object. Where's the fun in that?
In either case, remaining serves no real valuable purpose.
As stated on an earlier reply... if one is ignored by everyone on a forum, then who is one actually posting to?

Hmm....I should add 'wannabe mods' to My list...If a Member has made some posts that a couple of other Members don't like...then report them to the Supervisers/Admin..I've noticed some Folks continually tell off other Members They don't like...why?..do They think They're somehow superior or THEIR posts or points of view are more important?

The mods can determine what the best course of action is in terms of forum cohesion.
