I'm one of those folk who used to have loads, you couldn't see the fridge (and later on the fridge freezer) for the things. People always brought them back from their holidays for me.

They were good for holding postcards up or notes for me to remember something. But, one day, I thought - enough of this naffness and binned them all, every last one of them.

I couldn't part with mine (and I took some of Mum's after she died, and sold the rest at a carboot). They all hold special memories, and a few were gifted to me by relatives/friends.
