A Very Odd Encounter On The Way To The Forum...

Yesterday.... There l was in the town, walking through a park to get back to my car when I heard voices close behind me.
Thinking I was in the way I stopped to let them pass.
There were two girls and one young man, they look like students.
‘Thank you’, said the young man. ‘Would you like a Sweetheart?’
‘No thank you’, I replied! ‘I don’t think I would like one at all’ ....but he insisted and now, I have my very own Sweetheart!

Whatever, do you think happened? Should I be happy, or be wary?

Didn't they used to be little heart shaped sweets with something written on each one?

He was just very friendly and might have thought l was a homeless person because homeless people sleep on benches in the area where we were!
