Walking

I went for the same walk I did the other day but turned 'MapMyWalk' on this time.

According to that, it was 3.36 miles. About 300 yards of that on footpaths, the rest on rough ground. I walked up 181 feet of elevation and did 6763 paces. The round trip took 57 minutes.

Maybe not a bad time in view of having to pick the way around puddles, mud and undergrowth.

Re: Walking

I didn't walk or do any other form of exercise today. I didn't get up until 8:15 a.m. and have been idle all day. I might try the same procedure tomorrow. It was quite easy to do.

Re: Walking

7400 paces is my hourly rate, four hours is the target time though.

A sub 4 minute 1.60932 kilometre does not have the same ring to it, nor does the Proclaimers "I would walk 804 kilometres and I would walk 804 more", then there is the Who classic "I can see for Kilometres and Kilometres", can't think of one metric distance song, or artist for that matter (except for Music by John Kilometres).

Re: Walking

You got it the wrong way around Bruce. Walk 5 kilometres and then, from the same starting point, walk 5 miles. Note of how much further you get on the second walk.

Don't forget that much acclaimed Jazz Musician Kilometres Davis.
