Indistinguishable From Magic

I'm just watching a very interesting British documentary on Prime Video (I stress British, because I've recently seen some non-British ones which are completely exaggerated!).

Don't be put off by it beginning to discuss UFOs. From 43 minutes in, it enters into a discussion of the possibility of the application of technology to the human body: applications which, for example, could improve or restore sight and hearing even beyond that presently possible to us.
That's what I found particularly interesting.

It even suggests the possibility of our communicating directly brain-to-brain by as early as 2045. I'm not sure I'd be very happy for others to be able to read my thoughts!

My late wife and I often used to converse with the minimum of words.

I would answer her question before she asked it and vice versa.

Yes, seriously, Marge and I sometimes say or think the same thing at the same time.

Makes you think, doesn't it?

Mr B and I often do that too. It also happens between me and my son, not so much my daughter.

What's the name of the documentary, JBR?

One of the technologies I am interested in is expanding memory - less forgetting, better storage (like school learning), overcoming the problems of neurodegenerative disease...

Imagine!
