Bruce is right. it is quite generous considering we don't contribute to it in the same way as they do in the UK. And you can also work after retirement without it affecting your pension. You only start to lose a small amount of pension after it reaches $10,000 pa. There is also a lump sum work bonus scheme for those who continue to work after retirement age.
