Re: Margret Thatcher

I just read this in the Mail on line, goodbye Maggie, arguably the best P.M. we ever had. I was never interested in politics until the year she became P.M. and for some reason I started listening to her campaign speeches etc and she made so much sense. I had grown up surrounded by staunch Labour voters and had never even considered anyone else but she made me stop and think.

RIP Maggie, she may not always have been right but she gave her best to the country we cannot ask a PM for more IMO.

Re: Margret Thatcher

After my wife she was the next person I admired most despite me being starting out as a Labour supporter.

May she rest in peace.

Re: Margret Thatcher

I just read they are thinking of giving her a state funeral, how ridiculous is that?

Re: Margret Thatcher

Wasn't this Tony Blairs idea years ago he set it all up. So blame labour for this one.
