"America is Ready to Act" said Obama.

Doesn't it send a chill down your spine. Let's hope reason prevails.

Like you, Alan, it gives me shivers too. I can only hope that it's 'posturing' between two great forces..............

I think the headline is a bit misleading.,it doesn't mean going to war with Russia , but putting new sanctions down against Russia .

Tend to agree... also the remark was made by Kerry who is on about the same level as are Idiot F/S Hague who wanted us to go to war with Syria.

I don't think there is any more stomach for fighting this fight than there was for the last one we nearly got involved in. Our leaders on both sides of the Atlantic need to really think before they try to send us into any more wars because we can't afford them nor do we want to see our young men and women dying any more.

Agree, but I also think that Obama wants that soundbite to sound like a threat of war...

Re: "America is Ready to Act" said Obama.

The Americans want another attempt at 'ruling the world', since they failed last time during the 'cold war' they want to drag the rest of 'western' europe into yet another war against Russia. The Americans have an intense dislike for and abhorrence of anything Russian and continue to look for 'reds under the bed'.
