Rows

Do you take rows and arguments to heart , do you hold a grudge , or do you forget about the rows and move on

Re: Rows

That would depend.
If I fell out with someone I cared about, it would upset me, yes.
If, on the other hand, it was some old goat who'd been getting on me wick for ages, I doubt I would take it to heart.

Re: Rows

I rarely row - but, if it becomes unavoidable, then I say what I have to say and let it go. Holding grudges only makes you bitter.

Re: Rows

Me too ST. I hate rows. If I were to have any then I'm happy to forget it. I can't stand atmospheres. I know people who have rows and don't speak to each other for days/weeks. To hang with that. I'd only get more stressed.

Re: Rows

My Partner and I are totalyy different in that respect. I am an only child so never had any siblings to quarrel with and my parents never argued so I tend to take arguments seriously. MY OH had six brothers and arguments fly over his shoulder as quickly as they arrive wile I get very worked up by them.

Re: Rows

No rows here really my husband takes then very much to heart and gets mortally hurt with them. Aspergers is a complicated thing and makes him vulnerable to being very hurt at times.
I am a quick to forgive person in real life I think that's why I struggle with forums where people won't leave things in one thread and drag them around with them for ever. I don't understand picking on a person every post just because you had a difference of opinion 4 years ago But now I am using ignore I can weed out people like that.

Me too
An only child and an OH who was one of five. He was pretty laid back and his family arn't argumentative people anyway.
I rarely have arguments and try to avoid being in those situations because I take things to heart and it can make me feel quite ill.

Re: Rows

I never row with anyone, I just think yeah ok and keep smiling. That annoys the person who is having a good moan/shout even more. Better to say nothing then there is nothing that can be thrown back at a later date. I don't like conflict a quiet life for me.

Re: Rows

Don't hold a grudge at all - much simpler to ignore those that annoy you ....
