Re: Breast feeding in public

My daughter is currently nursing her two month old baby and she always covers herself with a shawl, (she prefers being in a private area and modest). I did the same when I nursed altho if a woman wants to nurse her innocent hungry baby in public, I have no problem with it.

Re: Breast feeding in public

I'd be happy to breast feed in public, but she would need to have attractive breasts.

Could be the cost Julie.
A Silver Cross pram now is £1450.
We paid around £100 nearly 40 years ago.

Only a bigot would object to breastfeeding in public.

Houses are too small with no proper hallways
Where would you keep the pram ?
My mum had a big pram for my little brother .
When he was bigger we made a 'truck 'from the wheels .
It was incredibly dangerous but such fun

Re: Breast feeding in public

I think that some peoples forget that it IS the reason why they are there!... to see it and think it is shameful is what is truly shameful...in Europe, almost all the babies are breast feed, and no one think twice about it or complain about it...of course, it is better to be a little bit discreet in public - and I think if the baby is hungry, you find a place and feed... Is silly to make such a big deal, yes?

Breast milk is far superior to formula. Get 'em out and get the bairn fed.
