The Indigenous Australians

Despite advances the aboriginal people the Aborigines are still the most disadvantaged people in Australia .
They are poorer and die younger
In Australia one of the most advanced nations in the world .
Opinions ?

Re: The Indigenous Australians

If that is true, Muddy, then it is a disgrace. I would not like them to go the same way as the native americans. They should be cherished.

Re: The Indigenous Australians

The native americans are far better off than the Australian aborigine it is about time something was done to help these poor people. The Australian public should speak up for them.

Really the treatment of the indigenous Australians is an embarrassment on the face of what is a great country .

Re: The Indigenous Australians

Thanks for the advise UK people, but you guys actually started it by taking OZ into your empire long time ago and sending all your , so called 'criminals ' down under. Quite a few of your ancestors murdered Australian indigenous men, women and children. So why don't you just shut up and wait until we can rectify what you have done?

How long should it take to fix your stuff ups?

I just think it's totally unfair to blame Australians when you bums started it all.

Re: The Indigenous Australians

In what way Meg ?
It been many long years that Australia have been a self governing country
Why should the original inhabitants still be so disadvantaged?

It's too easy to point the finger. We need more time please.
