Not good news.
Last year was diagnosed with eye problems and i was told to attend eye hospital appointment within 12 weeks,mit never came.I gave it a bit longer then phoned to be told i was on the list so again i waited but no appointment i was advised to get the GP to complain in the end it was the receptionist that did so and the appointment arrived.
I was given the exact same eye test that i had previously then they would send for me if they decided i needed treatment, the diagnosis was the same as the original.
Both eyes: moderate non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
Both eyes:clinically significant macular oedema.
Injections into my eyes and heaven knows what else, my treatment to be discussed soon, more waiting ahead and more deterioration to endure.

Sorry to hear about your eye problems Nom.I also have been referred by my GP to Hospital to another Diabetic Specialist, but again I have been waiting since December and I keep phoning them up even went down to the Hospital but i'm still on a long waiting list, even the Doctors Receptionist phoned for me and got the same answer.
This last month I have been getting a bloodshot eye, and I mean full of blood, I still have it now, I have had three lots of this in one month, and this is not normal for me, so still waiting.
