Would I be right in imagining they have a better cheaper public transport system than here Bruce ? I think if I lived in a city I probably wouldn't drive at all but it's hard to get around without a car outside the cities here IMO

True and even at 14 years old, they are better built than a lot of newer cars on the road.

I must admit I thought that too I did look at a few newer cars but I wasn't as impressed with them as I was this older girl. One thing I love is the solid clunk of the door no plasticky wimpy sound but a proper clunk.

And the way it glides over potholes.

Yes as I said earlier the speed humps are a dream in a CRV we mostly have the pillow ones so can drive over them without touching them quite easily. Unlike my previous jazz who grounded on one.

Re: Yippee ! new car

I've named every car I ever had even persuaded my husband to start naming his in the romantic cloud around us when we first married. Makes it easier when you want it to do something to ask it nicely and say please don't let me down (insert name) I tend to chat to mine when I don't have anyone else in the car, looks a bit crazy doing it with an audience

My Sierra had some appropriate names given to it but I can't say them on here.
