Re: What a Croc of...

I have a pic somewhere of a man on our tour taking a photo of the inside of a gator's jaws.

Why are the native Americans considered to be 'at one with nature' when they sell the skulls of baby gators in their shops?
Good question. Native Americans are still one with nature, but unfortunately some, are at one with money. The Michosoukee Tribe here in Miami now own their own casino. So the tribe now is dancing in money.

I see. I don't think the shop owner was too impressed when I mentioned it though.

Re: What a Croc of...

These photos were taken on the Alligator River, there is an East Alligator River and a West Alligator River named by a British explorer with no knowledge of reptiles and little imagination. There are absolutely NO alligators in Australia only fresh water crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles the names have never been corrected obviously.

BTW talking about little imagination - if I see another One Mile Creek or Two Mile Creek I will scream, just about every little Queensland town has one or the other; sometimes when you arrive at a town AND when you leave on the other side!
