I love Ludlow. They have great restaurants and an even better food festival.

It's the last decent place before Wales.

My maternal grandparents lived near there, so I got to know it quite well. But that was before it became a foodie place. Back then it was known mainly for open air Shakespeare productions. Maybe I should revisit the place.

Im going to book another day trip there .and do the river side walk , time ran out to do that i was that busy looking at all the buildings and Castle .

Ludlow, a town in decline.

It still has some amazing outdoor Productions in the Castle and a very good market in the main Square.

Unfortunately many of the top restaurants have gone, it had 3 Michelin starred at one time, the last good one, Mr Underhills is closed until October, the owners being ill. this year.

Lovely to look at, but some years ago it had a serious heroin issue, the notorious Sandpits Estate, now being partially demolished and redeveloped.

It also has a serious Anti Social Behaviour problem.

I really don't want to hear the negative side ,Swimfeeder .
Most towns and Cities have problems ,

I found Ludlow to be a Very quiet and Beautiful place see ,

There was negative talk on here about London , and yet when i went for the day I saw no more Immigrants than anywhere else .

If i listened to others id never step foot outside my front door .
