I will eventually sort out my photos into some sort of an Album.
It was a lot of fun, saw things I hadn't seen before, met some interesting people and had a lot of good food and beer.
Next year, as my 70th birthday treat, I want to go for longer and cross the Nullarbor Plain to Kalgoorie, Esperance then follow the coast up to Port Hedland, Broome, Kununnura, Katherine (again) across to Cairns before turning south and home (I want to see the Undara Lava tubes again). That's the plan but whether it comes off I have no idea; we shall see.
In the meantime I have this bloody cruise in November to somewhere in the Pacific, mixed feelings about that. On the bright side it will be the first time that, as a family, we have all holidayed together since the kids left school so that is the main thing for me - grandkids and all.
