Amazing photos Bruce and the scenery is truly spectacular!

I was impressed with Darwin Parliament House ... what a lovely building.

The Darter bird with the 'corkscrew' neck made me smile, how on earth does it twist its neck round like that!

Really enjoyed following your trip, thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Enjoyed looking at the piccies, Bruce, would not have enjoyed the Katherine Gorge, can't stand heights!!
Must be so lovely to be able to plan a trip and know the weather is good, unlike the good old UK...

ETA Was curious about the price of fuel compared to here and at £1 to around 2 dollars that makes everyday driving inexpensive although the distances are greater, obviously, at times.

Strange bird, it has this special vertebrae that enables it to project its head forward at great speed and it spears the fish with its beak while underwater.
