A few answers for Solasch...Q. Any idea why angela merkel is trying to help get a deal between EU and UK?
A. They need to sell us 800,000 cars a year or they go bankrupt. They are already in recession (less car sales and WTO tariffs from Monday morning here and soon in the USA) - you know the German industrial powerhouse that pays for everything in the European Union If she isn't careful, the only option left will be to go nuclear and ask for her money back that she loaned to Italy, Ireland, Portugal and Spain. If that happens the whole EU project goes bankrupt and the currency collapses in a heart beat ... that's why ...
Q. On the one side as a parson's daughter she mustn't lie. In that respect she has always been true to her father.
A. Same as Theresa May - what a coincidence.
Q. Living in the former DDR she saw what is in store for the british people. It is her christian upbringing that makes her do "stupid" things. Open the the borders for refugees, trying to help the british who in their follies got of the right track.
A. She is an ex communist. That's what communists do.

That explains very clearly what many of us must be thinking.
However, the one question that remains is why the Maybot is attempting to support the EU at the expense of the very people she purports to represent?
