Re: Flexible extension???

Patten said, rightly, that what we are witnessing is a clash between 2 types of democracy: plebiscitic and parliamentary.

And he concluded, also rightly, that Rousseau should never trump Burke.

Tories take note.

Getting 17.4 million people to do a run on the banks would be a big help.

Problem with that Bread, is that banks have no money in
them anymore, and the robots outside them wont release
more than 30 quid per day, But a good idea nontheless!

Afrikaans is a language that developed in a different direction on a different continent from dutch. Not in any sense a lesser language.

As for the attached file, the text explains just it originates in local history of a small town (ootmarsum). The picture paints a thousand words, so I'm sorry to be unable to translate so much text. That's why a picture is so efficient to convey a message.

It would depend on how many of them actually had any savings.

Given the demographics of the 17.4 I suspect it would be more of a walk with a Zimmer frame than a run for those that can actually be bothered to get up off the sofa

The demographics are what they are and leavers who are what TM describes as JAM’s are unlikely to have much if anything in the way of savings yet they voted to become poorer.

If you think they could cause a run on the banks you truly are as clueless as your response indicates
