It shows that some mixed marriages never work. Very sad for the children to be seperated, but good the Grandparents got the Grandaughter. I don't think the Chinese want girl children anyway, boy children are better, no wonder they didn't want to give the boy up.

I don't disagree but it may be they just love the children as much as his other grandparents. It's sad to split the children up.

I think so too Julie, My daughter's friend married a guy from Libya despite everyone telling her not to. She just couldn't see what kind of man he was. He took their wee son to see his parents in Libya and is now refusing to bring him back, he wrote and told her his parents would bring up "HIS SON" in the proper manner. I feel so bad for her but, she just would not listen. Now sadly, she knows only too well what others saw.

So sad.... I hope they have secured the custody of the little girl legally because I suspect the mother will be back for more money when the 9K runs out.

The mother is in jail .
It is her family who demanded the money and will no doubt sell the boy too given the right amount .
The English grandparents have to live with the grief of their own bereavement while these heartless thieves sell their own flesh and blood .
