Re: Practical Skills.

Usual stuff. Decorating, plastering, wiring (when it was still allowed), bricklaying, landscaping, plumbing, roofing, etc etc.

My old fella was too tight to get tradesmen in and too lazy to do it himself, so I had to learn how to.

Very useful at home, as well as doing the occasional pin-money work for friends. Even had a 6 month job site managing a site on the back of what a builder had seen me do at my parents house (after a house fire, long story), so it can't have been too far off the professional finish mark.

That's actually considered quite useful in the Land of Milk and Honey.

Re: Practical Skills.

I wouldn’t say that I have any particular practical skill. I like to think that I can turn my hand to most things.

Re: Practical Skills.

Sadly I've got no practical skills whatsoever, I'm not only impatient but clumsy too (I put it down to being left handed). The only thing I can do is write, which is no use to anyone.

Well, obviously electrical engineering. But I do have other attributes. I have done plumbing, carpentry, vehicle repairs, floor tiling, just stuff like that..............
