If memory serves me right P.I.P assessments (as well as other things) were (maybe still are) carried out by a 3rd party company and the DWP told the company to get as many people off benefits and any other sorts of payments. It was only when a whistleblower came forward and showed internal emails and memo's was the whole sorry affair exposed.Re: My battle with DWP over P.I.P finally over.
it took my son over 18 months we had a fight but fight we did (well I fought for him) and it paid off in the end. The decision makers even apologised to him in court for it having got to where it did! Yes, fight for your rights is the best advice. .Re: My battle with DWP over P.I.P finally over.
