Re: Reusing Bagged Compost

Aah, compost heaps....... I love 'em.

When I had a big house & garden I had a considerable surplus of compost, much more than I needed so I asked my dad what should I do with it.

"Dig a big hole & bury it son"

He larfed & larfed, He was no help.

What should I have done chums?

Re: Reusing Bagged Compost

When you have a big garden in my point of view you never have a surplus .... spread it about on your veg beds and flower beds every winter it can only help.... your dad was right dig a hole and bury it !!!! it can only help.... or at least give it to friends who like their gardens !!
