Re: Trump - The Long Goodbye

Trump was the very best POTUS in decades. Sad the pearls that he cast fell amongst swine.

Re: Trump - The Long Goodbye

Swines, indeed, the swines that followed the leader.

Too stupid to see he was lying to them all the time, using them for his own good.
Trump leaves QAnon and the online MAGA world crushed and confused

The prophecies did not come true. And people are fuming about it.

The pardons went to Democrats, lobbyists and rappers, with nary a “patriot” among them. The mass arrests of Antifa campaigners never came. The inauguration stage at the Capitol, full of America’s most powerful politicians, was not purged of Satan-worshipping pedophiles under a shower of gunfire. Even the electricity stayed on.

The moment the clock struck noon on Wednesday, Jan. 20, it was over — and the extreme factions of Trump’s diehard base were left reeling.

Inauguration Day 2021 was supposed to be a culminating moment for the legion of online conspiracy theorists and extremists who have rallied around the now former president. But the lengthy list of prophecies they’d been told would eventually happen under Trump’s watch never came.

"No pardons for middle class whites who risked their livelihoods by going to ‘war’ for Trump,” fumed a user in a white supremacist channel on Telegram.

Taken together, the reactions across MAGA internet reveal a mosaic of anger, denial and disappointment that the former president let them down in his final days.

Without their leader to direct next steps, the MAGA coalition — the extremist militants, the hate groups, the conspiracy theorists, and the stans — is starting to turn on itself.

Since the Jan. 6 riots, which resulted in five deaths and scores of arrests nationwide, more mainstream right-wing influencers like Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino scaled back their support for potential challenges to the results of the November election.

But rather than calming their millions of online followers, the efforts have produced a backlash, with posters calling these high-profile personalities traitors for not fully supporting insurrection.

As the hours ticked closer to Biden’s swearing in, the online chatter became more tense, with different online users questioning the loyalty of others, while increasingly getting desperate that “The Storm,” or the violent overthrow of deepstate agents, would never materialize.

In white supremacist Telegram channels—some of which have tens of thousands of followers—the anger soon spilled over into outright hatred toward Trump, as well as a call-to-arms to the outgoing president’s more mainstream followers that they had been misled.

They even turned against certain QAnon celebrities — Lin Wood, Sidney Powell and Michael Flynn — for hyping them up.

Several members of the QAnon community scrambled to suggest that Biden was now going to execute the conspiracy theory’s underlying beliefs, or even that the incoming president had switched faces with Donald Trump. But in a sign that Trump’s reign was truly over, former 8kun administrator Ron Watkins, one of the only people who allegedly knew the identity of the mysterious Q, published a post on Telegram surrendering to the inevitable.

“We have a new president sworn in and it’s our responsibility as citizens to respect the Constitution regardless of whether or not we agree with the specific details regarding officials who are sworn in,” Watkins wrote.

Maybe pigs, or swine, may fly...and see their ´truth´ for what it is...juszt another heap of (as tump would say) ´bullshit´.

Trump Plaza near Mar-a-Lago in Florida will be renamed following riots at US Capitol

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-b1793080.html

The board of Trump Plaza in Florida has voted to remove the ex-president's branding from its twin-buildings following the riots at the US Capitol.

The 32-storey tower in downtown West Palm Beach is a 10-minute drive from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago across the Intracoastal Waterway, where he has returned after leaving the White House to launch the Office of the Former President.

Trump Plaza’s condo board voted on 19 January to rename the complex after two attempts in 2020. But the US Capitol riots were the "last straw" for residents, according to The Palm Beach Post.

The board voted against officially renaming the building in February, and unofficially removed the last remaining physical signs in June, but it had remained Trump Plaza until the latest vote.

While the board voted to change the name, it's not finalised until two-thirds of residents vote to approve a name change.

The luxury apartment complex, where units sell from $1m to $4m or more, hasn't been officially owned by Mr Trump since the early 1990s, but residents continued to keep the Trump brand.

Regardless, protesters would sometimes converge on the apartment complex believing it was still connected to the then-president.
Good job .....

Melania Trump's office move could be her preparing for divorce from Donald

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/us-new...could-23404845

The former First Lady is said to be looking to move into separate offices in Palm Beach, leaving the space at former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort
Staying put would be the easy option - Mar-a-Lago is a very large property:

Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by Estonian politician ‘for not starting any wars while in office’

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/139178...dison-estonia/

Jaak Madison, a member of right-wing populist party EKRE, claimed he nominated the former president for having contributed to ensuring stability in the Middle East.

Madison is a fascist in all but name, having defended the economic aspects of the Nazi regime by writing "It is true that there were concentration camps, forced labour camps, games with gas chambers were being played, but at the same time such a 'strict' order brought Germany at the time out of a thorough shithole, because development, that admittedly concentrated primarily on the development of the military industry, brought the country only within a couple of years to one of the most powerful in Europe." His blog post further claimed that the Holocaust had 'positive aspects'.
Madison, whose post said he submitted his nomination “exactly two hours” before the deadline fell, said he was “definitely not the only one” who nominated the former president.
If you think that's jaw-dropping, this is merely surprising:

Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

https://news.sky.com/story/donald-tr...prize-12205384

The son-in-law of Donald Trump and his deputy Avi Berkowitz were nominated by one of the former US president's lawyers for their role in negotiating four normalisation deals between Israel and Arab nations known as the "Abraham Accords".

The American lawyer who nominated them, Alan Dershowitz, previously defended Mr Trump in his first impeachment trial.
It should be noted that nomination does not ensure selection - many of the 200+ candidates are discarded in the first round, before the short-list (of 30) is compiled .....

Obama got one for exactly the opposite. He dropped more bombs on people than any other president.

How's that for a record of peace .... just more illusion anymore lies... from the caring left.

More failure, more lies and its not even a month since Creepy Joe, Beijing Biden and "Mrs No Votes" Harris bundled themselves into the white house.

Instead of Lady Ga Ga at the inauguration ceremony they should have had Celine Dion singing the theme tune to Titanic

Georgia opens investigation into Trump effort to overturn election results

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...lection-result

The Georgia secretary of state’s office opened an investigation on Monday into Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results, according to a new report.

The office of Brad Raffensperger, the secretary of state, had faced calls to open an investigation after Trump was recorded in a 2 January phone call pressuring Raffensperger to overturn the state’s election results based on unfounded voter fraud claims.

“The secretary of state’s office investigates complaints it receives,” said Walter Jones, a spokesman for the secretary of state’s office, describing the investigation as “fact-finding and administrative”, Reuters reported.

“Any further legal efforts will be left to the attorney general,” he said.

Legal experts said Trump’s phone calls might have violated at least three state criminal election laws: conspiracy to commit election fraud, criminal solicitation to commit election fraud, and intentional interference with performance of election duties.

The felony and misdemeanor violations are punishable by fines or imprisonment.

Additionally, two Democratic members of Congress – Kathleen Rice, of New York, and Ted Lieu, of California – have asked in a 4 January letter to the FBI for a criminal investigation into Trump’s call to Raffensperger.

The push for investigations is one illustration of the legal perils facing Trump since he lost the constitutional protections that shield sitting presidents from prosecution.

Trump now faces nearly a dozen legal battles, including a criminal inquiry by the Manhattan district attorney, Cyrus Vance, into his business dealings, and several civil lawsuits.
He can hide but he can't run .....
