Sending kids to school is simply crazy.
Couldn't agree more.

Ask any parent of school age children about how, between September and March, they bring home all the germs, colds and coughs etc. If this happens, as it does every year, with just the usual infections then why is it not realised that coronavirus will also be brought home in the same way. The youngsters may be asymptomatic, nothing is noticed, but their parents, grandparents and older relatives can be infected so easily, with possibly the resulting and ever-increasing number of fatalities we see on the news.

The alternative, home tuition via the internet, is there so why not use it and keep the schools closed. That to me is the only sensible solution, the youngsters will probably accept this more readily than simply staying at home doing nothing. It may not always be easy for working parents but it could well be them, their older parents and relatives who suffer far worse in the longer term if schools are open.
