Re: Nora Quoirin

Well no it’s not .
I know what the jungle is like and I find it inexplicable that they didn’t find her sooner .Its easy to get lost in the jungle and people do disappear .
But this was a child who had mobility issues in bare feet and walking in the jungle is slow and difficult at the best of times .

Re: Nora Quoirin

They are still searching for the young boy who apparently fell into the River Stour in Kent whilst on a fishing trip with his parents. I find it rather odd he hasn't been found by now!

Taking it right back why take a severely disabled young girl on atrip like that into strange surroundings she might well have been uncomfortable with ?
Why put her to bed in her underclothes?
Did the parents rely on her not waking and wandering?

I won’t ever understand why the police have always to get the blame in such cases . I’m sure they do their utmost best in the circumstances .

Re: Nora Quoirin

Crikey are you STILL trying to find reasons to blame the parents ?
They took her because they thought it would be a great holiday for her .
Along with their other children
They said it was completely out of character for her to wander
So why should they NOT expect her to sleep after a long tiring flight .

Re underwear what’s wrong with that ?
It’s the tropics it’s very hot and humid .
My grandchildren nearly sleep in their underclothes even here .

In the years I lived in the tropics I wore absolutely nothing to bed .
Actually I still wear the same !

You are wrong about the police they don’t always do their best .
Indeed I am surprised they didn’t bring in the army straight away .
The local police are always aware of the adverse effect on tourism etc .

They also may know more than they care to admit .

Re: Nora Quoirin

I immediately thought... nothing must destroy Malaysia’s tourism.

I have no idea what happened but how far could you walk with nothing on your feet when stuff must be tearing your feet to shreds?
Would it have been dark in the forest for most of the time and difficult to see where you were going?
What a coincidence that on her very ?first visit to the country, she got to the area that she wanted to see the most.

Yes indeed Art .
Night falls at 6:30 pm and the jungle unless you have feet like a rhino hide will cut your feet to pieces .
