Deals with countries where it benefits both are still worth pursuing. For example, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India etc.
The problem with the EU is that they do not have much to offer and what they do is bundled with bureaucracy and regulatory nonsense that we can't accept (as they are finding out). No other country in the world has to accept their conditions for a free trade arrangement, but for some reason, we do.
Once the COVID-19 cases go down, economies will need to recover and to do that, they need to trade.
