I read about this a few weeks ago as an Italian professor of infectious diseases was saying it may be a treatment, then it was on the news today. The same professor thought that people may bring covid into the house on their shoes. This was about the time that Italy was having its terrible peak and they were desperate to find out how it was spreading.

But it seems this may be a potential treatment although it's not a cure, the evidence is that it just reduces recovery time in some. I'm sure hyperbaric oxygen chambers would help too.

aha! I see hyperbaric chambers were on the news in the last few days. Makes sense as they are used to treat those with carbon monoxide poisoning or the bends. The problem is that they are specialised kit and were once only available in the private sector.

Also, every navel force in the world, which have drivers, has hyperbaric chambers. Not that they would do much good for the public because there are darn few hyperbaric chambers and there are hundreds of thousand of sick.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Global Cases 3,220,830
Global Deaths 228,239
Mortality Rate 7%
(Flu Mortality Rate 0.1%)

Australia
Cases 6,752
Deaths 91
Critical 38
Cases per Million 265

UK
Cases 165,221
Deaths 26,097
Critical 1,559
Cases per Million 2,434

USA
Cases 1,064,572
Deaths 61,669
Critical 18,671
Cases per Million 3,216

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

The big jump in deaths in the UK is because they have added in Covid19 deaths from places other than hospitals (as mentioned previously). It takes the mortality rate in the UK to about 16% of known cases which is a pretty tragic statistic.

Navel? Drivers?

It always pays to check your typing!
Having said that, I have made such mistakes in the past too.

Yes, I know that Americans can't spell proper English words!
But I couldn't help imagining what a 'navel' force might look like. Men with exposed midriffs threatening their enemies with their bellybuttons?

Seriously, though, I'd put it down to sticky computer keys.
