Darley Mill is the mill you will be headed for ST its closed now and about to be turned into residential flats,,, shame really. I'm surprised you got so far up that road if you even stop on the road anywhere near there American guards come out and question why you are there.

That's the one - could not remember the name of it. Had more fun in Skipton Castle anyway!!

Actually ST I was wrong about it being turned into flats apparently it has new owners and has just reopened as a mill shop and café again. The water wheel has been fixed and is now working too... so I'm told

Are you a walker, JBR ? If you want beautiful scenery and like walking you should try the 'Seven Waterfalls Walk' - starts behind Goathland station and about 6 -7 miles later end up at the Mallyan Spout. Did it again today. Brilliant!
