What on earth have Labour to offer us Annie? They have been wrong on just about every aspect of the country's financial recovery and even now all they have to offer is another dose of the same inane "policies", which brought the country to it's knees the last time through their total financial ineptitude, and as a result of that ineptitude our children and grandchildren will still be paying the interest on their spending spree long after we are dead and gone.

Terrifying.....

Annie darlin' - you'll have to shift a lot further to the left in order to join me - I detest the current bunch of 'champagne socialists' and careerist politicians in the 'New Labour' Party. Sadly its not possible, but the late Tony Benn would have made a better leader and Prime Minister than the last three Labour leaders put together.

ps, welcome back darlin'

Oh God forebid UJ I meant a real Labour Party, not a fancy nancy lot, it seems to me that all the politicians are landed gentre, not a working class man to be found. Does any one remember when men worked hard for their living and women scrubbed the front steps every morning.I think they call it progress, I call it laziness.

It would be good to see a 'real' man that stands up for the working class, hope there are still some left !

Patsy & Annie darlings, there is but one left who has remained true to his 'Socialist' principles: 'The Beast of Bolsover' - Dennis Skinner.

I don't think that is entirely fair, he is advocating Britain actually becoming a democracy. That wasn't something Stalin was very keen on. It would be a small step in the right direction.

I liked him.

Made me laugh when he said in the commons that.

Skinner...Half the Tories opposite are crooks.

Speaker... please withdraw that remark.

Skinner OK half the Tories opposite are not crooks
