today I've spent ages fiddling with my electric blanket that's stopped working, the stupid plug is one of those fitted type that you can't open so I couldn't check the fuse although that might not be the problem.The other night I glided up the stairs to bed with my large glass of lemonade and my book as usual, put the glass down first, then the book which knocked it over!
The edge of the duvet caught most of it but I'm assuming the timer control must have had a hit too!an expensive mistake as to replace that particular type would cost £70!
I've been searching in the kitchen cupboards in the hope that among all those cleaning products I rarely use cos I seem to have 3 of everything,I just might find a hot water bottle and eureka!I did!
I can't remember the last time I actually used one but I'll be trying it out shortly!
