Nigel Farage

Nigel announced tonight he has resigned from UKIP he sounded a broken man when he was describing how UKIP has been taken over by anti muslim members, Tommy Robinson joining was the last straw I think.

So UKIP now no better than BNP and EDL.

I wonder what he's got up his sleeve? Main party politics? It needs some kind of shake up.

Re: Nigel Farage

I think he is going to have to sort out his EU MEP status first apparently all the UKIP MEPs are or have left UKIP but not their MEP jobs.

Re: Nigel Farage

I'm sure I will be shouted down for saying so, but I'm afraid I always saw them in the same bracket.

Re: Nigel Farage

I won't shout annie but I was a member at one point and never saw any anti muslim sentiment from anyone. It's much more recent since latest leader took over that happened.

I think you know me well enough to know I'd speak up if I had seen anything said against Muslims.

Not so sure he has been loud about the problems in the tory party and certainly couldn't work under Maybot.

Re: Nigel Farage

I have a friend who is a big UKIP supporter (as are his best mates). He is a big fan of Nigel but also loves to post anti-muslim rants and has posted in support of Tommy Robinson. Many of his UKIP supporting friends agree with him and post similar rants. It's sad because he never used to be like this.

Hopkins apparently tried to join Ukip many times, although it's reported she was turned down. Well we know what she thought of Muslims. So I don't see how it's a new thing. It's happening all over Europe too. Such parties tend to attract extremists.

Re: Nigel Farage

Farage discussed this at great length on Sunday morning on LBC. He was at that point pretty upset the way the party is going/gone and said he did not want to be part of the party he founded any longer.

He also said the Tories won't have him, and had no idea of what might be to follow for him.

His greatest concern was about the intended protest event next Sunday in Westminster, where Tommy Robinson is speaking, arranged by an ex convict ( offence being armed kidnapping) who is also advising the now leader of UKIP Gerard Batten. Farage said it is almost certain there will be unrest and trouble at this organised event which he wants not to be associated with what he now considers to be BNP & EDL . He said that those people were never allowed to become members of UK... obviously that has changed.

I wrote this on another topic, in the last couple of days.

He's hoping she will be ousted.
