Carly Simon is a great singer and like some one as already said that was a good version live on a windy day.

Has for MacDonald perhaps she should look into working for a fast food chain she as the name for it but singing no way.

It's strange because I really like Amy MacDonald too. She's an excellent songwriter.
Carly Simon's hit is one of my all-time favourite songs and it's from my favourite James Bond film too, 'The Spy Who Loved Me'.

I don't know much about Amy MacDonald but I have heard other stuff by her on the radio and thought it was fine (not that I would buy it) but I thought she killed that one.

The Spy who loved me is also one of my favourites, probably because of our ages being similar.

That's probably true mate. It was the first James Bond film I saw at the cinema in the summer of 1977. There were two cinemas opposite each other and the first Star Wars movie had just come out and the queue was a mile long. I went to the other queue which had about 20 people in it as the Bond film must have been out a few weeks by then.
I always think this is the reason I'm more of a Bond fan than a Star Wars one.

You could be right there. I think it was my first film too - the first I had gone to see with my mates anyway. I did take a girl to see Bambi but not sure if that was before or after.

Amy MacDonald, lets hope she leaves "For your Eyes Only" alone.

Muddy, you are missing the ambience of the original.
Sorry if that sounds overbearing.
