I watched the 2nd episode, it's a very depressing story so far. Not sure I really like it.

Tiffany, I think the title of it, Les Miserables, tells you that it is going to be sad, but I am hoping that it has a happy ending.

I am enjoying the adaptation of Hugo's novel I like a good meaty classic on a winters night ....

I am hoping that too.
I didn't know the story, have never read the book, never saw the musical & the title did put me of when it first came out.

I read the book whe. I was twenty .
It's long and involved
It's a fantastic read many many stories intertwine to come together in Les Miserables.
Each character has a story .
It is so much more than what can be portrayed on stage .
